Evenings can be hard, and we would like to be able to extend Renew later.
On Wednesdays, Renew is open until 8pm.
The bookshelf has many books that have been collected throughout the years by various members, so we ask that you take care of them, but feel free to read any that look interesting to you.

Support from co-ordinators will be available if needed to explain or clarify any item during the induction process.
Renew is a social group providing a safe place where people can help each other with their own care and recovery. Members take responsibility for themselves and for the preservation of the safety and respectfulness of the group.
All members are equal and no member has rights above and beyond those available to all. Members place their responsibilities to other members first.
Access to the group is open at the advertised times. Attendance is voluntary and unrestricted for members within those times.
Membership and attendance is strictly confidential and all information about a member's attendance or conversations should be treated appropriately.
Members are asked to provide a contact number for a close friend or family member in case of an emergency.
Disrespectful or irresponsible behaviour which gives rise to any form of distress in other members will not be tolerated.
Animals and children brought to the group are the responsibility of their owners or carers. Please keep them safe and under control.
Sober space: People under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs who upset others will be asked to leave. Please do NOT exchange drink or drugs in the group. Use of alcohol is not permitted in any part of the building or grounds.
Physical safety: Members have a right to feel safe within the group. This is particularly important, and no suggestion of violence or threatening behaviour will be tolerated. Peaceful resolution of conflicts will be supported. Breach of this principle may result in immediate suspension of a member pending review.
No means No: Please respect members rights to be left alone either physically or verbally. Be aware of how your behaviour affects others.
Please act with consideration for others in your use of the premises. Tidy up after yourself both inside and outside of the building. Help keep facilities tidy, replacing anything used and reporting any damage or anything not working to the co-ordinators or the centre manager at Involve@Lincoln.
If you want to display posters or information, feel free to do so but be aware that members have a right to remove anything they think is inappropriate.
Renew operates within the law at all times. Members are responsible for themselves, but if there is any suggestion that anyone is exploiting or hurting anyone else, or is in danger of harming themselves, the police will be call if required.
Consequences: Breach of these guidelines will be treated in accordance with the grievance/disciplinary procedures and appropriate remedies implemented. In the worst cases exclusion from the group could result.
Please sign the visitor log every time you visit the group.
A co-ordinator is present in each group session to deal with any issues including referrals to the committee or safeguarding lead.
