Involve@Lincoln Ltd. does not collect ‘sensitive personal data’.

· To determine and improve the effectiveness of the community benefits society.

· To keep you informed about our work. 

· To enable us to contact you with relevant and the most appropriate information. 

· To notify members of meetings and annual general meetings, news and changes to Involve@Lincoln Ltd. Society Rules.

· For compliance with employment law and other statutory requirements.

Involve@Lincoln Ltd. will not share your information with any other party unless required in order to comply with any legal obligation.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting info@involvelincoln.org.uk

(b) We have a contractual obligation.

How we store your personal information 

Your information is securely stored. 

Involve@Lincoln Ltd. will only keep your personal information for as long as it is required and in accordance with statutory requirements. For example the Financial Conduct Authority requires us to keep a record of your name, address and contact details on a Community Share Register if you are a member for 10 years after you cease to be a member.

Where the information is no longer required, we will ensure that it is disposed of in a secure manner.

If you have indicated that you do not wish to hear from us in the future, we will keep the minimum information necessary to ensure we avoid contacting you any further.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. 

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
